You'll find that Internet classes are less expensive, because they are being accessed by people around the world and don't have to cost what private lessons or going to school to learn French will cost. Another reason being educated on the internet works well is that you have access to the same materials and information as you would from a traditional class setting, while having the added benefit of being able to use the material at any time and go through the course at a pace more comfortable to you.

An alternative way to learn how to speak French is by listening to it when it's being spoken. If you have someone with whom you can converse on a regular basis, then you will find that you can expand your French vocabulary exponentially and learn to use these words in the right context effortlessly. When learning the French language it is imperative that you listen not to a slang or dialect but to literary French. Over time, your facility with written French will get better, and this will enable you to read an increasing number of French books, which in turn will further strengthen your ability to understand the language.
