MySQL is something that webmasters will be familiar with but for those new to web hosting and building sites, this video is a basic introduction to the process of creating a MySQL database using cpanel.

A great number of modern scripts work in conjunction with MySQL databases – common content management systems and blogging platforms such as Joomla, drupal and WordPress are obvious examples but many other scripts also need a MySQL database in order to function.

This video takes you through the basic steps of creating a MySQL database using cpanel.
