The first thing to say about IXWebhosting.com is that they offer an excellent package of features for the low price of just $3.95 per month. With prices starting so low, people are often wary, but it would seem that IX are very well thought of by consumers.

The company operate their own data centre (always a good thing) hosting over 200,000 domains and word on the web is that their servers are fast and reliable with minimal downtime. They are also rated highly for their service and response times and very few users have any complaints in these areas. All in all, this is very encouraging, so, what can you expect to get for your money?

The cheapest plan will give you the ability to host 2 domains, 100 subdomains, with 300 gigabytes of web space and 3000 gigabytes data transfer. These are impressive numbers for the price, no doubt about that. They also throw in a sitebuilder, 2500 email addresses and 1 free domain. However, you will get no MySQL or C-Panel (they provide their own control panel which can be viewed at the site). To check the long list of features have a look at the site which is very detailed.

Some people will be happier with the Business Plus plan which allows for a lot more growth and will cost you $6.95 monthly on Linux hosting and from $8.95 on Windows hosting. We won’t list all the features here, which would take too long, but looking at the advantages over the cheapest option, you can see why it is their biggest seller. It is excellent value for money and would be adequate for any small business user. For those wanting more serious clout from their shared hosting, for $12.95 IX offer pretty much all you could want.
