If you are running any kind of commercial website you might want to consider some kind of helpdesk software to manage customer enquiries, technical support, billing issues and disputes or complaints.
Helpdesk or support desk software comes in many shapes and forms and I have used osTicket for the past year and been very happy with it. The choice was a simple one because the free software is a script that is included with cpanel and Fantastico from my web host. Most users of cpanel will probably also have access to osTicket and a one click install if they also have Fantastico, along with several other help desk options.
For WordPress users the following video explains the features of a support ticket plugin called “Technical Support For WordPress” which might be a more attractive proposition for those who use WordPress exclusively.
This is a promotional video for the Technical Support for WordPress plugin. You can get more information about the plugin at kovshenin.com
