Another Wordpress video tutorial that explains how to add a “back to top” link on any post or page. Depending on your Wordpress theme this can be an extremely useful aid to navigation for your visitors, especially on long pages or lists – maybe an FAQ page for example.
The video explains exactly how to achieve a back to top navigation link using two different methods.
The tutorial is considered advanced because it requires use of text editing software and FTP software to download and add HTML code to the header.php file in a WordPress theme. Once you add the HTML code to the header.php file, you can use the Code editing window in the WordPress Dashboard to insert a “Back to Top” link on any page or post. Both methods work well although the advanced type is the more efficient of the two.
